When I was introduced to the first Watch Dogs, I wasn't too interested. I was not familiar with the series, and I didn't really pay any attention to the game.
I wasn't too keen on stealthy action games until I was introduced to the Metal Gear Solid series last year, (super late, I know, I'm ashamed of myself). That's probably why I didn't jump into the whole Watch Dogs idea at first.
I had the opportunity to check the game out in action a few months after that, and I thought to myself, ehh it's not that bad. It actually looks fun. I even liked Aiden at first.
Apart from the really bad driving mechanics and the boring protagonist (by then I realized that Aiden is a wooden plank) , it's not as bad as some people make it out to be.
Fast forward to this year. When Watch Dogs 2 was announced, I was totally awestruck. The game looks even better than the previous title, and Marcus looks a hundred times cooler than Aiden.
I like the idea of running around the city trying to basically hack everything and everyone in sight. I'd probably spend more time trying to do something stupid rather than do the actual tasks, but that's the beauty of it.
Really looking forward to see this game in action. From what Ubisoft has announced so far, it's shaping up to be a pretty amazing experience. We'll find out in November if this is worth all the hype it has generated.
It will be better than the first Watch Dogs, I'm sure of that.
P.S. Wrench is absolute love.
