Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age: We're Goin' Back to Ivalice in July!

YOU GUYS. I just woke up to some amazing news! The Final Fantasy XII remaster will be coming to the PS4 July 11th. Yaaas!

Final Fantasy XII is one of my most favorite Final Fantasy titles ever, up there with IX and VII. I believe a lot of people missed it because it was released in 2006, during the twilight years of the PS2.

What drew me to the game is the battle system, which reminded me of Vagrant Story (I never got past the first stage of that game, it was too hard for me then lol), During that time, I was a hardcore turn based JRPG fan, and I usually avoid action oriented games for that reason.

I didn't know how FFXII's battle system worked before I bought it. I assumed it would still be old school turn based since, you know, Final Fantasy, right? Well, turned out I was wrong, but looking back, if I knew, I'd probably won't play the game in the first place.

I was also drawn to the hunt feature in the game, which was probably one of the inspirations for Final Fantasy XV's hunt feature. I can't wait to go on hunts (and see Gilgamesh) all over again!

So yeah, awesome news! Super excited to play this game again and see Vaan and the gang after more than ten years kishkishkish. Not too keen on seeing Ashe again though. She's annoying af.

Are you guys as excited as I am? Talk to me in the comments section!
